SAN News is a prestigious organization that has been serving the public with the news and latest developments for several years now. Our goal is to provide information, education and entertainment with a high standard of quality control. In line with this objective, joining our network is not for the many. We profile and filter all our applicants through two stages: a. Review of their application through our website ((forums)), followed by b. An in-person interview. However, we do believe in equality of opportunity - we review and interview every applicant fairly, regardless of background, creed, age etc.

With all this in mind, applicants should be aware of their own professional skill-set. Successful entry into our news organization requires the following:

A good (to perfect) level of English in writing, reading, speaking and general comprehension.
(We understand that many people playing here are not from the US/UK, and that's fine. This shouldn't deter anyone from trying to join. But do understand that writing articles or doing live events requires some dexterity in the secondary acquired language.)

Understanding of the handbook and rules
(If you are caught severely unread or cheating during the in-person interview, you will be blacklisted)

In-game: Minimum level of 5, all acquired vehicle licenses, no active DM warnings.
(There has to be a cutoff point somewhere to decide if a player has invested time in-game and has understanding/respect for the mechanics/rules. This is it.)

Knowledge in post formatting/text editing
(All articles are subject to proofreading and editing. However, each member has to already know a thing or two about how articles should be written, how they should look, where to use visual markups like colors / bold /CAPS / italics etc)

Able to use voice communication software like Discord or Skype
(We currently have a partly-private discord in which we use to co-ordinate effectively and discuss articles, game affairs etc . A microphone is not required, but listening when instructed to is.)
