Divisions

Internal Affairs (I.A)
As an Internal Affairs officer your goal is to keep Los Santos Police Department free of corruption you may issue strikes to people not following the rules. Internal Affairs officers are handpicked by the division commander.


Training & Recruitment (T&R)
As a Training and Recruitment officer you may deal with applications posted by the citizens of Los Santos you can also conduct training phases for cadets. Training and Recruitment officers are handpicked by the division commander


Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T)
As a SWAT officer you're in the most elite division in Los Santos Police Department, you're expect to have great shooting skills and driving skills. SWAT officers are handpicked by the divisions commander.

Rank Structure & Uniforms

Below are given what the rank structure is within the department. The uniforms are based on the rank but it depends which division you are in or have permission to wear other skins. ((Not all skins are added)).

6. Chief of Police - In charge of all Department

5. Deputy Chief -Division Supervisor

4. Captain - Division Commander

3. Sergeant - Assistant Commander of a division.

2. Senior Officer - Can be appointed in SWAT and any other division

1. Police Officer - Normal Officer

0. Cadet - Training Phase

New Ranking System

We've brought a new ranking system into the Los Santos Police Department, it gives everyone a fair chance of getting that High Command spot.

Police Officer ((R1)) > Senior Officer ((R2)) - Two weeks as a Police officer to receive this promotion.
Senior Officer ((R2)) > Sergeant ((R3)) - One month as a Senior Officer to receive this promotion.
Sergeant ((R3)) > Captain ((R4)) - Two months as a Sergeant to receive this promotion.
Captain ((R4)) > Deputy Chief ((R5)) - Can be given at any time, decided by the chief.

10-1: Leave everything you are doing
10-3: Stop Transmitting
10-4: Message received (not yes, it means that you heard the message)

10-7: Off Duty
10-8: On Duty, responding to calls

Code 1 – Routine Response Type (Not a Priority, Sirens and Lights off)
Code 2 – Urgent Response Type (Lights and Sirens at Intersections)
Code 3 – Emergency Response Type (Lights and Sirens)
Code 4 – No Further Assistance Needed/Enough Officers on Scene
Code 6 – Marked Units Remain Clear of the Area
Code 33 - Radio Silence for an Emergency Situation

Status

Status 1: Currently patrolling and available to take calls. ((10-Cool)
Status 2: Currently on a break ((10-7))
Status 3: Currently on division duty.
Status 4: Currently in a big fight! Requesting back up!​


Miranda Rights

When using Miranda Rights make sure to have a two second gap between each sentence for RP terms.​

Code:
You have the right to remain silent.
Anything you do or say can and will be used against you in the court of law.
You have the right to an attorney after initial processing has been completed.

Force Matrix




Force Level 1
- Suspect may be verbally aggressive.
- Suspect may be showing aggression in his tone of speech.
- Suspect may be taunting you or using foul language.

Actions: At this point you may issue the suspect verbal warnings or gestures to calm them down. No physical contact.



Force Level 2
- Suspect may have committed a crime.
- Suspect may be disobeying orders from a LEO.
- Suspect is hinting violent actions.
- Suspect is making aggressive movements or gestures.
- Suspect may be preparing for physical contact.
- Suspect may be increasingly aggressive.
- Suspect is showing disrespect.

Actions: At this point you may call a Code 2 and move to a hands-on approach of attempting to escort the person away from the situation or potential victims using voice commands and light gestures




Force Level 3
- Suspect has committed a crime.
- Suspect may be making physical contact.
- Suspect may be using a non-lethal weapon.
- Suspect may be threatening lives.
- Suspect may be involved in a physical fight.

Actions: At this time you may use a Taser, pepper spray or a nightstick to detain them. Call a Code 3 backup if necessary. No firearm should be used.



Force Level 4
- Suspect has or is committing a felony.
- Suspect is brandishing a firearm.
- Suspect may be actively aiming.
- Suspect may have vehically assaulted you.
- Suspect has placed lives in danger.
- Suspect may have seriously assaulted somebody.

Actions: At this time the suspect is threatening to end a human life. You may un-holster and aim a firearm at the suspect. Do not fire unless the force reaches 5. Do not Taser the suspect if they are actively firing upon you. You may warn them to put away or drop their firearm if they do not comply after the fifth warning you may use your own judgment.


Force Level 5
- Suspect has or is committing a serious felony.
- Suspect is in the act of seriously assaulting someone.
- Suspect has a firearm and is aiming it.
- Suspect may be firing at you or civilians.
- Suspect may be in a vehicle attempting to hit you or civilians.
- Suspect may be fleeing after three warnings were issued.
- Suspect may have a hostage.

Actions: At this point you may open fire at the suspect. Attempt to avoid such a situation if possible. If the suspect is attempting to escape in a vehicle, attempt to shoot out their tires – if you miss and the car begins to smoke you must cease fire and attempt P.I.T. maneuvers only. It is suggested you call backup.

Information
The San Andreas Penal Code is a complete list of all possible offenses and crimes including descriptions of these crimes. Crimes that are marked by the same color, excluding white, cannot be added to the same person for the same arrest.

The amount of money located next to the charge is the amount that charge's fine is worth (i.e. if someone drives recklessly, and does not have a valid driver's license, then they will receive a fine of $750 via a ticket or prison).

1. Traffic/Vehicle Offenses
1.1 - Operating a Vehicle Without a Valid License – $500
The operation of a vehicle without the individual having a valid license to do so.
1.2 - Reckless Driving – $250
Driving in a way which reasonably causes hazard to traffic or environment.
1.3 - Driving Under the Influence – $250
Driving a car while you are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol (( only valid of /breathtest indicates guilt )).
1.4 - Grand Theft Auto - $250
The act of stealing or attempting to steal a motor vehicle.


2. Personal Offenses
2.1 - Intimidation – $250
Communicating toward another person that they will physically harm that person.
2.2 - Assault – $500
Applying violence against a person, causing physical damage or harm.
2.3 - Vehicular Assault – $1,000
Physically harming another person by intentionally ramming that person using a vehicle or making attempts to do so.
2.4 - Attempted Homicide – $3,000
Applying violence against a person, causing physical damage or harm.
2.5 - Homicide – $5,000
Act of one human killing another

3. Governmental Offenses
3.1 - Trespassing – $250
Being in a restricted area, including but not limited to staff areas of the FBI and LSPD headquarters, LSPD and FBI garage, the Los Santos sewers, and the prison facility, while not leaving that area after being ordered to leave by a law enforcement officer.
3.2 - Federal Communication Commission Violation – $250
Unlawful advertising, creating advertisements with an intent of selling illegal content.
3.3 - Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer – $5,000
Making claims to, in any way or form, that you are part of a law enforcement agency while you are not.
3.4 - Misuse of the 911- hotline – $250
Using the 9-1-1 hotline in an irresponsible way, including but not limited to reporting non-existent crimes, insulting staff or for any reason other than reporting crimes, reporting injured civilians or contacting LSPD/FBI/LSFMD staff in a reasonable way.
3.5 - Bribery – $3,000
Offering money, goods, services or anything else to a law enforcement officer in an attempt for him/her to alter your punishment.
3.6 - Aiding and Abetting – $500
A civilian participating in a crime. Helping or assisting another civilian in doing a crime.
3.7 - Failure to comply – $500
Failure to follow the explicit instruction(s) of a law enforcement officer.
3.8 - Evading – $1,000
While piloting a vehicle refusing to pull over after a law enforcement officer ordered you to pull over


4. Firearm Offenses
4.1 - Brandishing a Firearm in Public – $500
Brandishing a firearm when unauthorized to do so, it's legal within own property on a certain level.
4.2 - Discharge of a Firearm in Public – $500
Shooting a firearm in public when unauthorized to do so, it's legal within your own property.
4.3 - Possession of Illegal Firearms – $1,000
The possession of one or more illegal firearm.
4.4 - Distribution of Illegal Firearms – $1,000
Distributing or trafficking of illegal firearms.
4.5 - Manufacture of Illegal Firearms – $1,000
The production of illegal firearms or production of firearms without a valid governmental approved license.

5. Narcotics Offenses
5.1 - Possession of Illegal Narcotics – $1,000
The possession of illegal narcotics.
5.2 - Distribution of Illegal Narcotics – $1,000
Distribution or trafficking of illegal narcotics.
5.3 - Manufacture of Illegal Narcotics – $1,000
The production of illegal narcotics

6. Misc Offenses
6.1 - Gang Affiliation – $500
When a civilian is affiliated with a illegal organization (i.e. gang), colored bandana(s), being around a group of individuals.
6.2 - Robbery – $2,500
Using intimidation, threats, or firearms to take things from somebody.
6.3 - Bank Robbery – $5,000
Robbing the Bank of Los Santos and illegally taking money from the facility.
6.4 - Terrorism – $5,000
Any act that attempts to overthrow government or start anarchy, or any attempt to 'terrorize' on a large scale.

X. Special Offenses
X.1 - Public Endangerment; cannot be charged with discharge of a firearm in public and reckless driving – $1,000
Putting other people's lives in danger, directly or in-directly (e.g causing an explosion, landing a helicopter in a populated area, etc..)
